This should be for emergencies only, such as an active dog attack or animal attack.
Routine complaints- 860-826-3000:
This is the main number to call for animal related complaints such as barking dogs, nuisance dogs, roaming dogs, sick/injured wildlife etc
Questions about animals for adoption or to report your missing pet-860-826-3095:
This is the phone number to the dog pound facility. We are in and out of the facility throughout the day but we do check messages frequently and will call you back. Please refer to our Facebook page or Petfinder to see some of our adoptable dogs.

The New Britain Animal Control does not handle nuisance wild life complaints. Please refer to a nuisance wildlife handler or consult with the CT DEEP for assistance. For sick or injured wildlife please refer to the routine call line.
Our animal control facility is located at 642 Christian Lane in Berlin, behind the New Britain recycling center.
Our open adoption hours are:
Wednesdays from 3pm-6pm
Saturdays from 10am-1pm
